Porch Host Registration

 

Are you interested in being a Porch host for this year’s Tower Porchfest? You’ve come to the right place! Listed below are the steps needed to become an official 2025 Tower Porchfest Porch Host.

Step 1: Determine your eligibility. Is you porch located between Fruit/Blackstone & Shields/Belmont? If you rent your space, do you have permission to host an event on your front lawn? If you are within the geographic boundary and have explicit permission to host then you are good to go!

Step 2: Fill out Questionnaire. Filling out our Porch Host Questionnaire will give us the information we need to populate our map with your address and other important information about your porch. You will receive an email response confirming that your responses have been received.

Step 3: Sign the Waiver. Once your request has been approved we will send you an email containing a link to our waiver. Click the link then sign and submit the waiver. You will receive response a response email from TowerPorchfest@gmail.com notifying you of your successful registration.

Step 4: Inform Your Neighbors. Tower District residents are even more diverse than the homes. Remember that when planning your lineups and activities. Informing your neighbors of the upcoming festivities is crucial to the ethos of being a good porch host. Keeping your activities at a respectful volume and your attendees within your property lines are two very important responsibilities as a Porch Host and directly affect the success of Tower Porchfest as a whole.

Step 5: Plan Your Day. Its time to put on your thinking cap! Whether its music, theater, comedy, karaoke or dance, you need to be connected with local talent to bring them to your porch. If you need an entire day’s worth of acts or just to fill a slot or two, head over to our Facebook page Friends of Tower Porchfest and click “Join.” The sole purpose of this page is to connect Porch Hosts and Performers.

Step 6: Input Your Lineup. Our map is our most useful tool used to navigate the maze of entertainment on the day of the event. Inputting your list of performers, activities and time slots allows attendees to find you and whats going on at your porch. This process, as well as step-by-step instructions to do so, will be laid out in the coming weeks.
